Whatever you do, add value.
If you give value to someone, they will nearly always reciprocate. Whether it’s in a one-one, a troika, a ProVisors meeting, a client meeting or how you market yourself, always provide a benefit to the other person[s]. While we are all in business to get business, the act of giving increases the likelihood that we will get business in return. It may sound counter-intuitive or even selfish to give in order to receive, but the laws of reciprocity and attraction clearly demonstrate that in our plane of existence, these are undisputable axioms. Attracting someone to what you have to offer is far more likely to payoff than promoting what you have to offer to someone who will automatically tune you out.
