In this episode, we talk with Kevin Berson. He founded Kinected Advisors in 2014 to leverage his 20+ years’ experience in Mergers and Acquisitions and Big Six Consulting to create a high-performing, high-touch, multi-disciplined team to help business owners plan for and ultimately exit their businesses on their terms.

Kevin’s vision for Kinected is to develop long-term, trusted client relationships with business owners to help them secure their legacies and transition into early retirement on their terms.

Kevin previously spent 11 years at Technicolor leading strategic initiatives, including: Co-founding Creative District, the ‘LinkedIn for Creatives’; leading M&A due diligence on three transactions collectively valued at $500M, and leading a $5M SAP implementation for the world’s largest DVD manufacturing facility.

Prior to Technicolor, Kevin spent six years at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting leading strategy and technology engagements for manufacturing and distribution-focused clients.

Kevin talks with us about what led him to found Kinected Advisors and how he helps people transition their business when they are ready to retire.

He explains what makes a business harder versus easier to sell and what he is looking for when qualifying a new business.
