Starting on November 1, 2022, New York City is lifting its vaccine mandate that required all employers with workplaces in the City to obtain proof of vaccination for all of its employees. Our previous post on the NYC vaccine mandate can be found here.

Although New York City is lifting the mandate, the City is encouraging New York City businesses to implement their own vaccine policies, so businesses, if they choose, can continue to maintain a vaccine requirement for its workplace. Any business that continues to require the vaccination of its workers will also need to continue to provide exemptions for religious and medical reasons.

If you have questions about your business’s vaccine policies or other employment practices, please contact us at (201) 345-5412 / (646) 503-5358, or through our online scheduling system, to schedule a complimentary consultation.
