Productivity coach Judy Dang demonstrates a fun exercise to help you look back on the year positively and constructively, inspired by the book Have You Filled Your Bucket Today by Carol McCloud.

All you need is a blank piece of paper and a pen. Fold the paper in fours. In each square, write the following on top:

How I filled my bucket
How others filled my bucket
How I filled others’ buckets
Brags

Fill each in with your highlights from the year. We often forget about these things, so it helps to have a record to remind you what you’ve accomplished. It feels good to see all these positives in print, especially the ways you’ve impacted other people’s lives and the gifts you received from others that you can be thankful for.
